Our customers are technical and value people who speak their language. We’d be excited to jump start a sales engineer’s career transition to a seller.Manage the full sales pipeline from lead to close, having excellent follow up and a process to make sure no balls get dropped.Be a trusted advisor, working closely with prospects to learn about their needs and educate them on how LangSmith or LangChain can help.Own the POC process to show the value of LangSmith, looping in sales engineering team members to support.Be knowledgeable about the industry and best practices, being a guide for prospects as they embark on their GenAI journey.Be a product expert. Learn about our newest releases and updates to keep prospects and customers up to date.Build rapport with customers and nurture the relationship post close to ensure their success.Negotiate deals to find win-win outcomes, and partner with counsel to redline contacts.Collaborate closely with engineering, relaying product insights and customer feedback.Collaborate closely with customer support engineering and deployment engineering to advocate for your customers’ needs.How to be successful in this roleYou have sold technical software to enterprise customers.You enjoy being a trusted partner to companies and are good at building relationships.You have excellent presentation and written communication skills.You’re creative and like building the playbook for sales at LangChain. You consider yourself an artisan in deal making vs. needing a process to be successful.You like to win, and find a way to “yes”. You’re not easily deterred and can find outcomes that work for all parties.You enjoy keeping up to date on the latest industry techniques to share with customers.Can thrive in a fast moving environment.
