(no mileage reimbursement)Job DescriptionSeeking an experienced facility/plant engineer with a strong background in managing and maintaining facility equipment, particularly HVAC systems, Electrical Infrastructure, and Building Management Systems (BMS). The ideal candidate will lead project upgrades in these areas, drive improvements, oversee implementation, and ensure optimal system performance throughout the project terview process: Google Meet interviewSoft skills: collaborative, communication, ability to dig into problems to find solutionsMinimum years of experience: 4 yearsEducation requirements: BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical)Key AccountabilitiesPlant Engineering: In a regulated cGxP environment, identifies engineering needs for site facilities. Defines projects, develops solutions, prepares project documentation, secures capital or expense resources, evaluates bids, implements engineering changes, controls expenditures, and represents the site as Facilities SME on capital projects. Develops FDA validation protocols and data.Facility Infrastructure Management: Supports efficient operation of site facility infrastructure systems (utility systems, HVAC, etc.). Monitors system status, analyzes trends, develops maintenance strategies (preventative, corrective, predictive) to ensure cost-effective and reliable operation of all plant equipment and systems. Facilitates business units' capability to perform their functions.Administrative: Develops and manages capital and expense budgets. Researches information and presents data on facility topics, including planning of facility needs, master facilities maintenance plan, and disaster recovery. Manages performance and provides training and development opportunities for staff. Acts as qualified trainer for facilities-related SOPs and programs.Energy Conservation: Analyzes energy consumption, identifies energy savings opportunities, develops projects, and implements them to improve energy conservation. Develops cost and energy savings metrics and reports.Sustainable Operations: Analyzes facilities processes and equipment to identify opportunities to achieve Eco Team and Group Sustainability goals. Develops procedures, processes and projects to enhance sustainable operations at Bay Area sites.Asset Management: Manage and maintain site asset listings (buildings, grounds, utility infrastructure, equipment). Develop and manage Life Cycle Asset Management processes, including Facility Condition Assessments.
