They play a crucial role in construction, monitoring quality, and liaising with different pensation & BenefitsCompensation for this position is $104,000.00 - $141,440.00, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Required SkillsWritten and communication skills Required ExperienceBachelor's degree in engineering or a related fieldTen (10) years of construction or related engineering experience, with at least two (2) of the ten (10) years in the transit industryExperience with Microsoft Office 365Physical ability to access any of the locations and perform a hands-on inspection, if requiredMust have previous field experienceOSHA 10-hour Construction certification Preferred ExperiencePE license, Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or Certified Professional Contractor (CPC) are desirable but not requiredFamiliarity with WMATA design criteria and standardsProficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Procore Working ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
