As a Mechanical Engineer at Optronics, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, prototyping, and testing of precision optical and visual display systems. You will collaborate closely with optical, electrical, systems and other mechanical engineers to deliver robust, manufacturable, and high-performance optical assemblies and visual display systems. The candidate will apply knowledge of mechanical design and fabrication processes, such as design-to-cost, component selection, engineering procurement, and engineering lab processes to the design and development of flight and simulation & training hardware. The candidate will also contribute to bid and proposal efforts. The candidate is expected to coach, lead, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
