It fuels our passion and drives every decision we make.Job TitlePrincipal Strategy Consultant – RemoteJob DescriptionThe Principal Strategy Consultant is responsible for the creation of analytic frameworks and ultimately the analysis of Prime-specific, competitor, and industry-wide information and data in support of creating and driving Prime’s strategy. This role is responsible for providing consulting expertise to leaders throughout the organization to identify gaps in Prime’s capabilities and evaluate strategic opportunities to close those gaps. This role is also responsible for working closely with members of the Executive Staff, Senior Leadership Team, and other colleagues across the enterprise to deliver materials for the quarterly Board meetings.ResponsibilitiesDrive business case development for internal and external opportunities, including business objectives, proposed solution and justification, utilizing knowledge of financial levers of Prime and industry standards/trends with support from Senior Director StrategyGather and analyze industry and competitor data and intelligence to identify industry trends and implications to Prime: based on results of environmental scan, develop strategic responses, including tactics, timelines, and dependenciesDevelop reporting mechanisms to monitor ongoing performance against Prime’s Strategic Imperatives; identify benchmarking data and toolsPrepare agendas, outlines, and draft documents for Board meetings in collaboration with other content contributors throughout enterpriseOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience; HS Diploma or GED is required7 years of experience in strategy, competitive market intelligence, mergers and acquisitions, and/or business and corporate development roles or related fieldMust be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional QualificationsStrong strategic thinking, able to analyze key industry trends and identify implications to PrimeEffectively works in matrixed leadership environmentExpert ability using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelStrong presentation skills and leadership presenceAbility to work both independently and as an energetic team playerAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Business or related fieldExperience with large sets of claims dataIn-depth knowledge of PBM industryExperience conducting pharmaceutical, medical, and/or financial analysesEvery employee must understand, comply with and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their job, and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and procedures.Every employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions, absent undue hardship.
