Nurse Practitioner - Physician AssistantFrederick, MDPay From: $65 per hourMUST:The Nurse Practitioner - Physician Assistant must be comfortable working in an inpatient environmentACLS and BLS certification requiredNP or PA license in the State of MarylandMaintain CME requirementsInpatient Acute Care, ICU or surgery experience is preferredDUTIES:Provide inpatient coverage for Frederick Health Hospital, Shady Grove Hospital, Medstar Montgomery Hospital, Holy Cross Germantown Hospital on an as needed basis Provide clinic coverage for the 4 offices as per agreed upon schedule Perform inpatient rounds including new consults, follow ups, admissions, and discharges Review labs, imaging, multidisciplinary notes, determine appropriate imaging needs Examine and perform history and physical Relay important and specific information to surgeons with recommendations and plans Schedule inpatient and outpatient surgeries and follow ups Document in EMR and submit for billing Follow policies, procedures, and codes in the employee manualRespond to telephone inquiries from patients and consulting providers Regular and frequent communication between surgeons, staff and consultants Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
