Corporate Litigator (Las Vegas)

Job Summary:We are seeking an organized, motivated, aggressive, and detail-oriented Litigator to join an in-house legal team in Las Vegas, NV. This role is ideal for a candidate with litigation experience, particularly in commercial contracts and matters, who wants to take ownership of disputes involving the company. The Litigator will serve as the lead litigator on disputes, with the ability to work independently, file complaints, and serve as lead counsel. The Litigator will also provide overflow legal support for the company, including assisting with contracts and other legal matters.Responsibilities:Serve as lead litigator on disputesDraft and prepare complaints, pleadings, motions, briefs, legal correspondence, discovery requests, discovery responses and other legal documents, whether for state court, federal court, arbitration or otherwise.Participate in depositions, court hearings, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including document production, interrogatories, and exhibit organization.Handle trial preparation, including witness preparation and case file management.Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with General Counsel.Review applicable laws, rulings, and regulations; conduct client and witness interviews; and provide management with regular updates on case progress.Develop and implement litigation process for handling incoming and pending matters.Provide legal support overflow for non-litigation matters, such as but not limited to reviewing/redlining/negotiating commercial contracts (e.g., customer, distributor, vendor, confidentiality, and service contracts) and providing support to regulatory and compliance team in connection with companys compliance programs.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Nevada.Minimum of 2-5 years of litigation experience.Strong knowledge of civil procedure, evidence rules, and experience in both state and federal courts.Excellent legal research, analytical, writing, and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to aggressively pursue matters, work well under pressure, and manage multiple matters and priorities in a fast-paced setting.Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.Experience with commercial contract disputes and health care is a plus, but not pensation:Competitive salary commensurate with experienceBenefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time offWork Environment:On-site position based in Las Vegas, NVCollaborative and fast-paced
