Take advantage of this opportunity with an incredibly stable company that is growing before someone else does!Position Description:We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on, and skilled individual to join our client's dynamic team as a Facilities Supervisor. The purpose of this role is to support manufacturing operations and the engineering team to maintain and oversee the maintenance, safety, and daily operations of multiple facilities, managing a team of maintenance staff and contractors to ensure systems and equipment function efficiently and comply with safety regulations.This individual will provide on-going support to day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure fast response to facility repairs, coordinating maintenance, ensuring a comfortable and functional environment for all occupants, and monitoring building operations. As required, this supervisor will collaborate with our production equipment, manufacturing and process engineers, operations personnel and other stakeholders to troubleshoot, repair, integrate, and maintain equipment.Responsibilities: Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.Manage external service providers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance of building systems, cleaning services, and waste management.Oversee the development and execution of facility maintenance schedules using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring equipment reliability and performance.Promote energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, leveraging data and analytics to drive continuous improvement and manage equipment end-of-life and replacement planning.Develop, implement, and train staff on facilities-related policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, including ISO 13485 standards.Lead and support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.Coordinate emergency response planning, business continuity efforts, and facility safety improvements.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and repair performance using a CMMS application.Support facility expansion and improvement projects, including vendor contract management, procurement, project documentation, and cost control.Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device or other highly regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, pharmaceutical).In-depth knowledge of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution (208V and 480V), fire safety, and general building maintenance; experience with geothermal systems is a plus.Proficient with digital tools and systems, including CMMS platforms, Microsoft Office, and mobile devices; able to generate reports, analyze trends, and support data-driven maintenance decisions.Working knowledge of diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, anemometers, manometers) and electrical troubleshooting, including sensors and control wiring.Solid understanding of GMP and ISO 13485 quality system requirements and their application in facility operations.Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local building codes to ensure compliance in all facility-related activities.Proven ability to work cross-functionally with operations, EHS, and engineering teams to align facilities support with production and business goals.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, vendors, and deadlines effectively.Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills in fast-paced and dynamic environments.Self-motivated, hands-on leader with a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.Education & Certifications:Associate degree in manufacturing technology, mechanical or electrical engineering, or other related fields of study is preferred.
