Job Title: Biology Lab Technician IIIDuration: 12+ Months (Possible extension)Location: Marlborough, MA 01752Onsite Role Responsibilities:The Center for Biological Innovation (CBI) that utilizes in vitro and ex vivo approaches, such as biochemical, cell-based, microbial, and tissue-based assays to support the design, development and commercialization products.Candidate should have appropriate scientific experience to provide the technical support required for supporting in vitro biomedical research studies.Supporting in vitro hemocompatibility testing of blood contacting devices at the benchFollowing experimental protocols and executing on tasks both independently and with guidance from senior team membersAssisting with preparation of data for reporting and presentationOptimizing and troubleshooting technical assaysMaintaining detailed and accurate recordsEducation/Experience:3 Years with Associate with Biology degree/diploma or Bachelors, or an equivalent combination of education/work experienceBackground in Cell BiologyPreferred:Hands-on experience in cell biology techniques, e.g. hemocompatibility testing (highly desirable), microscopy. immunostaining, flow cytometry, and/or cell cultureAbility to quickly learn new techniques and adapt in a changing environmentAbility to work effectively in a team setting and on an individual basis
