The Husky Den Bar and Grille is seeking a reliable and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position requires hands-on cooking experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing menu items to specification, maintaining an organized and efficient workstation, and ensuring every plate leaving the kitchen meets our standards of quality and consistency. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items with precision, including proteins, vegetables, sides, and sauces. Execute fry, grill, and sauté techniques consistently and according to recipes. Set up, stock, and maintain assigned stations before, during, and after service. Plate dishes with accuracy, presentation, and attention to detail. Follow portion control guidelines and food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas. Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. Qualifications: Must provide proof of at least the last 2 consecutive years of experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role under another title. Hold a valid ServSafe certification (or obtain one upon hire) and comply with all Federal and State employment guidelines. Strong knowledge of standard cooking techniques and commercial kitchen equipment. Ability to multitask and stay organized during high-volume service. Dependable, punctual, and committed to teamwork. Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. What We Offer: Competitive hourly pay.
