Account Director – San Francisco FM&HVAC Recruitment is delighted to partner with a leading Facilities Management and Operations business to find an exceptionalAccount Directorfor their San Francisco region. This is a senior leadership role for someone with operations, client management, and team development experience.What You’ll Do Provide leadership across multiple client accounts to ensure contractual, financial, and operational commitments are met — and exceeded. Build, motivate, and develop teams, including Facilities Managers, ensuring skills, staffing, and succession planning are in place. Drive the strategic growth of accounts — renewals, extensions, and value-add opportunities within existing contracts. Oversee governance, including internal and client-facing reporting, budget oversight, cost control, and ensuring safety, compliance, and quality standards are maintained across the portfolio. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistently excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.What We’re Looking For Several years of proven experience in facilities management, operations management or a related field, at a senior or account level. Strong track record in client relationship management, negotiation, and delivery against financial targets. Excellent leadership ***** ability to hire, coach, mentor, and retain high performing teams. Solid financial acumen — budgeting, cost reduction strategies, forecasting. Robust knowledge of health & safety, regulatory compliance, contract governance. Exceptional organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
