Westpark a Waters Community -NOW HIRING - DIETARY AIDES *New Wages *A comprehensive benefit package includes:Excellent PayPaid Vacation Time-Cash Out OptionPaid Sick TimeGroup Health InsuranceDental and Vision InsuranceLife insurance plansDisability plansPOSITION SUMMARY:The Dietary Aide is responsible for providing assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures, federal and state governmental regulations, and facility policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Serves meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance at designated meal timesSets up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc., as instructedAssists in checking diet trays before distributionAssists in serving mealsPrepares and delivers snacks, etc., as instructedDelivers food carts, trays to designated areasExecuting diet spreadsheetsCleans work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers etc.Washes and cleans utensils as directedWorks with the facility’s dietitian/Dietary Supervisor as necessary and implement recommended changes as requiredEnsures that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policiesEnsures that food and supplies for the next meal are readily availableAssist in inventorying and storing incoming food, supplies, etc. as necessaryParticipates in and assists in departmental studies and projects as assigned or that may become necessaryOther duties as assigned by the Dietary SupervisorPrepares food etc. in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as with our established policies and proceduresOur company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
