Quality Engineer - Data

We are hiring a Quality Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining quality software applications and processes while developing and implementing new processes to achieve evolving business objectives. The QE will be responsible for evaluating the viability of implementing the quality system across the organization and leading the integration activities at facilities.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide facility support for all quality software user activitiesImplement and upgrade quality software modulesIntegrate current quality software modules/reports for newly acquired locationsDevelop test plans for quality software upgradesWork with Supplier Quality to develop improved electronic process for Supplier Ratings and PPAP systemsDevelop and maintain revision control for work instructions relating to software processesOther duties as assignedCritical Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesProficiency in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and OutlookExperience with JD Edwards Enterpriseone (or equivalent ERP application)Experience with IQS Trubox (or other integrated quality application)Fundamental understanding of quality systems, methods, tools and standardsUnderstanding of documentation control and hierarchyAbility to apply project management principlesDemonstrated verbal and written communication skillsUp to 10% travel
