Arbitration SupervisorProperty and Casualty Insurance IndustryAbout the RoleThe ideal candidate will be supervising day-to-day claims operations and effectively managing specialized claims ranging from routine to complex to ensure timely and efficient claims processing and resolution. Position includes oversight, evaluation and staff development of personnel within the unit. Responsible for file auditing to evaluate and ensure quality control of all aspects of claims management. Ensure compliance with established standards of performance, policies and procedures to achieve assigned goals. Review and assign PIP arbitration demands. Engage defense counsel and review/approve their arbitration submissions. Draft Applications for Dismissal and On The Papers submissions. Be familiar with Forthright Rules.ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day claims operations.Manage specialized claims ranging from routine to complex.Ensure timely and efficient claims processing and resolution.Oversee, evaluate and develop staff within the unit.Conduct file auditing for quality control of claims management.Ensure compliance with performance standards, policies, and procedures.Review and assign PIP arbitration demands.Engage defense counsel and review/approve arbitration submissions.Draft Applications for Dismissal and On The Papers submissions.Familiarity with Forthright Rules.Qualifications~ Bachelors degree or the equivalent in work experience.~ Five or more years of progressively responsible positions in claims.~3-5 years of NJ experience with claims.Required SkillsThorough knowledge of applicable claims procedures, statutes, regulations, compliance, insurance laws, and insurance coverage.Ability to supervise and motivate staff.Effective delegation of assignments.Exercise timely follow-through.
