The shifts will be scheduled 4 days on and four days off. As a key leader within the hotel, this role ensures seamless guest services, upholds the highest standards of luxury hospitality, and supports the efficient functioning of overnight operations. The Overnight Front Desk Manager serves as the primary point of contact for guests during evening hours and may act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: Guest Relations Greet and assist guests in a warm, professional, and discreet manner upon arrival and departure. Anticipate guest needs, handle special requests, and resolve concerns with efficiency and courtesy. Ensure VIP and high-profile guests receive personalized attention and service that reflects Casa Cipriani’s standards of excellence. Operations Management Oversee all front desk functions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency with hotel policies. Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and payments, ensuring accurate documentation. Complete nightly occupancy, revenue, and cash handling reports with precision. Act as Manager on Duty during the overnight shift, making decisions to support hotel operations as needed. Team Leadership Provide direction, coaching, and support to overnight front desk staff, ensuring adherence to service standards. Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and accountability. Conduct training and development to enhance staff performance and guest service delivery. Collaboration Across Departments Coordinate with housekeeping, security, food & beverage, and engineering to ensure smooth overnight operations. Communicate important updates and guest requests to appropriate departments for follow-up. Problem Solving Act as the escalation point for guest concerns, providing timely and effective resolutions. Implement solutions to improve operational efficiency and service consistency. Document incidents and ensure proper communication with senior management. Safety and Security Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property during overnight hours. Monitor hotel premises and promptly report any suspicious or unusual activity. Adhere to health, safety, and emergency protocols to maintain a secure environment. Administrative Duties Maintain accurate guest records, transactions, and shift documentation. Prepare nightly reports and communicate all relevant information to senior management. Assist with inventory management of front desk supplies and guest amenities.KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management strongly preferred. Proven front desk or guest services experience, with prior supervisory or managerial responsibility in a luxury hotel environment. Strong leadership, training, and motivational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with fluency in multiple languages a plus. Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera is preferred, Mews, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong problem-solving skills, discretion, and a guest-centric mindset.PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION: Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
