Clinical Engineering Manager

DescriptionThe Clinical Engineering Manager provides day-to-day communication support to the Director of Biomedical Engineering and is responsible for managing the clinical engineering activities within the department. Specifically, the position has responsibility for equipment planning for projects, project coordination, equipment evaluation, medical equipment management program development and maintenance system management, and the safety management associated with regulatory investigations, incident follow up, cybersecurity assurance, and recall investigations. The work will center on the value that the Biomedical Engineering department brings to the advancement and safety of medical device technology. Additionally, this position will work directly with the biomedical equipment technician team to coordinate projects as well as communicate with enterprise leadership on the status of all projects. This position will lead a small team of clinical engineers who will assist in supporting these goals and objectives.QualificationsMinimum EducationBachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering (Required)Master's Degree (Preferred)Minimum Work Experience5 years At least 5-7 years of experience.
