Role: Event Line Cook Reports To: Sous Chef/CDC/Culinary Director About Petit Trois Petit Trois L’Original opened its doors in 2014 by Chef/Owner Ludo Lefebvre in a nondescript strip mall in Hollywood. Inspired by classic Parisian bistros, featuring just 21 counter seats and an open kitchen, Petit Trois is intended to transport you to France with its decor and cuisine. Chef Ludo brings his signature flair to classic French dishes, always sourcing the best ingredients, and turning simple classics into something opulent without being overstated. The Role Hospitality at Petit Trois is a team sport. It is essential that the entire team works closely together and is aligned on creating memorable experiences for everyone they encounter from guests, to fellow employees, to vendors, as well as the community. In this tight knit ecosystem, Event Prep Cooks are responsible for following recipes according to the chef's instructions and finishing the prep list given to them in a timely manner. They execute prep directly related to a specific event whether it is an offsite catering event or an in-house pop up. This role is hourly and does not participate in the tip pool. Preferred Skills and Experience: Basic Cooking Knowledge Basic Knife Skills Respectful and works well with other kitchen staff Knowledge of classic French food a plus Job Duties and Expectations: Arrive and leave on time, and clock in/out accordingly Dress appropriately every day for work. Say hello to every member of the team on arrival and goodbye on departure Execute stations according to Chef’s/Sous Chef’s direction. Be aware of inventory of both raw product and prepped items. Communicate clearly with Sous Chefs about ordering, running low on items, 86’s. Properly label all mise en place with date and item name. Be able to accurately follow and execute recipes. Quality control. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, walk-in, prep areas and common areas. Be aware of DOH protocol. Be willing to help out with any when needed with any task. Organize linens, and organization of common areas.
