We currently have several openings for full time delivery drivers for our Rentals, Linens and Furnishings Division. The driver position's main responsibilities are to transport, load and unload equipment to and from customer sites, terminal docks, and other assigned locations.Duties & Responsibilities:Following the best practices for safety, while on the road and loading and unloading a truckCommunicating with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries Drive a non-CDL delivery truck on a predetermined route and scheduleMeeting delivery deadlinesLoading, securing, and unloading equipmentWhen necessary, assemble/disassemble of equipmentObtain customer signatures when neededDocument deliveries or log other informationFollow DOT regulationsAdhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulationsQualificationsQualifications Include:1 year of experience driving box or straight trucksValid drivers license with a good driving recordMust pass DOT physical and drug screening (background check)Ability to work cohesively as part of a teamMust work well with others in a professional mannerMust have a positive attitudeMust have excellent customer service skillsMust be able to read, write and communicate effectivelyMust be able to utilize problem solving skillsExcellent levels of time managementMust be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekendsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbShould have knowledge of the Maryland, DC and Virginia areaWorking knowledge and understanding of Motor Carrier Safety regulations/DOT guidelinesMust be at least 21 years of age
