Senior Accounting Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $105,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Prepare and record journal entries and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.Develop and document policies and procedures to maintain compliance and efficiency.Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and automation.Conduct financial analysis, including variance explanations and flux analysis.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. Requirements A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.4+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment.Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Demonstrate proficiency in financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations.Show advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs. Qualifications Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Communicate effectively through strong verbal and written skills.Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus.
