Payroll Manager

Century Group is in search of an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a team in the Englewood, CO. Qualified candidates with 2-5+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $70,000 to $85,000 per year. Job Description: Processes payroll within Company assigned frequencies, which includes compiling payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, and withholding union dues, and preparing and issuing paychecks. W2 and 1099 processing Processes timely and accurate wage assignments, garnishments, child support orders, and employment verifications. Audits all system entries for new hires, status and compensation change and termination submissions with the support of the HR Data Entry team. Responds and resolves payroll inquiries in a timely and compliance manner and within prescribed methods. Analyzes payroll reports such as Certified Payroll, Job Cost Association, Gross Payroll Registers, Vacation Reports to ensure accurate and timely tracking and accruals. Perform additional assignments per management's direction. Supports reconciliation of outstanding payroll checks with the corporate Accounting team.
