Sr Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $60 to $65 per hour.Job Responsibilities: Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts. Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support. Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of accounting experience. Proficiency knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel) and accounting software's. Experience in the implementation and integration of ERP systems within an organization required. Strong understanding of GAAP. Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements. Experience in analyzing sales data and revenue streams for CPG products in retail preferred.
