Our environment is filled with hard-working, dynamic individuals who come together to ensure the success of our partner Dermatologists.Job DescriptionDuties: Room Patients, triage, obtain/document medical history and chief complaint in EMRDocument Allergies and Medications and Obtain Informed consent from patientsScribe and assist provider during exams and proceduresAssist skin cancer surgeries, medical procedures and cosmetic proceduresPrescription managementPatient call backs with pathology results/schedule excisionsPrior Authorizations and BiologicsClean and restock exam rooms/assist with inventorySterilize InstrumentsAssist with any administrative duties such as answering the phone, patient questions and schedulingQualifications1+ year(s) of Medical Assistant experience (Required) EMR experience (Required) Dermatology experience (Preferred) Front desk experience (Preferred)Willing to explore potential future PA student candidates needing clinical hours for a gap year.Additional InformationJob Type:Full-time, Monday- FridayOpportunity to assist Mohs surgeonExperience:1 Year Medical AssistantDermatology experience preferredEducation:High School DiplomaCertifications/Licenses:Medical Assistant Certification
