Job Title; Phlebotomist II Duration: 2 months Location: O Fallon MO Shift: 7:30 AM - 4 PM Mon - Fri Role Overview The PSR II serves as the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health care or significant health decisions. This role involves drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing while following established protocols. The PSR II interacts directly with patients, fostering trust and confidence by explaining procedures clearly and performing blood draws skillfully, safely, and accurately. The role requires leadership, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling patient information. Assignments may include doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs. Key Responsibilities Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under the guidance of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe and professional work environment. Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, adhering to established procedures. Verify patient demographic information, obtain patient initials, and secure patient signatures post-venipuncture to confirm correct tube labeling. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Job Requirements Deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Work independently with minimal supervision. Exhibit excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime based on staffing needs. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record if travel is required. Ability to travel and cover multiple locations on short notice. Adapt quickly to change and possess knowledge of company business operations. Education & Certification High school diploma or equivalent required. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Training locations may vary depending on trainer availability.
