Mechanical and Tool Inspector / CMM Operator

**Description:** You will be the Mechanical and Tool Inspector for the Missiles and Fire Control team/. Our team is responsible for producing some of the world's most advanced weapon and sensor technology through ultra/-precision machining, additive manufacturing, and the development of complex optical components and sophisticated electronic systems/. **What You Will Be Doing** As the Mechanical and Tool Inspector, you will be responsible for performing in/-process / courtesy / quality witness / final inspections on machined parts, electro/-mechanical, mechanical, composite, integrated systems and various coatings including chemical conversion coating, military grade primer / paint, powder coat and anodize/. Your responsibilities will include: + Performing in/-process / courtesy / quality witness / final inspections on machined parts, electro/-mechanical, mechanical, composite, integrated systems and various coatings/. + Inspecting mechanical assemblies utilizing Coordinate Measurement Machines /(CMMs/) for structural flaws and checking critical dimensions to extremely close tolerances/. + Ascertain functionality in accordance with prescribed company and customer requirements and specifications which may be presented to the customer for certification and acceptance prior to shipment/. + Utilizing a variety of precision inspection instruments and gages to perform inspections per drawing criteria, including critical dimensions to extremely tight tolerances/. **Why Join Us** We are looking for a collaborative and detail/-oriented individual who is passionate about quality and precision/.
