Job Title: Electronics Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician with a strong understanding of Electrical/Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Assembly concepts and procedures within an equipment manufacturing environment. The role involves engaging in hands-on tasks related to the assembly, integration, and testing of electronic circuit boards, systems, and associated cabling/harnessing. Responsibilities + Assemble, integrate, and test electronic circuit boards and systems. + Perform tasks related to cabling and harnessing. + Conduct electrical box wiring or work with robotics mechanics. + Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics. + Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of Electrical/Mechanical problems associated with current product lines and supporting machinery. + Use hand tools effectively for assembly and troubleshooting. + Participate in production schedules and ensure adherence to quality requirements. + Engage in shipping, receiving, restocking, Kanban ordering, and general cleaning and maintenance of the production area. Essential Skills + Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and assembly. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams. + Experience with electrical box wiring or robotics mechanics. + Familiarity with crimping techniques and schematic diagrams. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate/Technical certification or Degree in electrical/mechanical fields. + Experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician. + Knowledge of electronic assembly and electromechanical products. Work Environment The position is 100% onsite, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Flexible hours are available, but presence during core hours is mandatory. The team consists of 18 members, with daily interaction with 7-8 people within a total of 11 in operations. The work environment is focused on manufacturing and production, ensuring quality and adherence to production schedules. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SPRINGFIELD, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
