Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager Job Description Actalent is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team, focused on managing large-scale electrical construction projects. This role requires expertise in project management, cost tracking, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities + Understand and delineate the scope of work, determining when change orders are required. + Comprehend and manage closeout requirements for projects. + Develop and appropriately utilize a man-loading project schedule for Union Contractors. + Evaluate labor resource needs using cost-to-complete reports, job cost tracking reports, and project schedules. + Set up and maintain job cost tracking reports. + Participate in all bid closings. + Review project budgets in collaboration with estimators. + Assist project assistants in obtaining and assembling timely submittals. + Review all submittals and monitor the submittal process monthly, expediting or resubmitting as necessary. + Coordinate and assign responsibilities for change proposals, working with project assistants and field leaders to define and clarify scopes of work. + Review proposals for accurate pricing and presentation, ensuring timely submission of change order pricing within contract time frames and customer constraints. + Conduct project cost-to-complete forecasting. Essential Skills + Extensive experience in construction, construction management, and project management. + Proficiency in electrical construction and bluebeam software. + Competence in budgeting and managing change orders. + Project Management experience for an Electrical Contractor with a background in large projects (Mission Critical, $30 million+). + Experience in project budget and financial forecasting. + Familiarity with Accubid, Revit MEP, estimation, and spectrum software. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Minimum of five years of experience as a Project Manager for an Electrical Contractor. + Background in electrical apprenticeship, journeyman roles, project foremen/general foreman positions, mentorship, or a degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering. + Mission Critical project experience is required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
