Phlebotomist III – Float (Avon, CT) Location: Avon, CT (Floating between Avon, Bloomfield, Unionville, Bristol, Plainville) Shift: Flexible M-F, 5:30 AM – 5 PM; alternating Saturdays (8 hours only) Duration: 6 months Job Summary: The Phlebotomist III – Float provides skilled blood collection and specimen preparation across multiple sites. This role requires flexibility to float between locations, strong patient communication, and leadership in guiding onsite teams. Responsibilities include drawing blood safely and accurately, mentoring staff, and supporting high-volume and specialized practices. Key Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in some states) 5+ years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections Experience in patient service centers preferred Strong customer service and data entry skills Able to lead and mentor onsite staff Hours: Must be available M-F, 5:30 AM – 5 PM with flexibility and alternating Saturdays.
