Phlebotomist I Job Duration: 4+ months (high chance of extension) Job Location: Miami Beach FL 33139 Shift hours: M-F 7:30am - 3:30pm, Rotating Saturday 6:30am - 11:00am at two different locations.    Job Description: Direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation. Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric. Minimum of 6 months’ phlebotomy experience required. Phlebotomy certification preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Keyboard/data entry experience. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Interviews will be scheduled each Wednesday and Thursday between 2-4PM EST and all interviews will be conducted ONSITE at the Miramar lab location.
