Vice President of Operations Location: Southern California (Flexible within region - LA to San Diego corridor) Industry: B2B Services | Private Equity-Backed | Multi-Site Field OperationsThe Opportunity A rapidly growing private equity-backed services platform is seeking a Vice President of Operations to join its senior leadership team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead day-to-day operations across a network of 10+ locations, support the integration of newly acquired businesses, and help scale the company from ~$50M to $100M+ in revenue.The VP of Operations will report directly to the CEO and serve as a critical partner in driving operational excellence, cultural alignment, and post-M&A integration across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and optimize operations across a multi-site footprint, with full ownership of team performance, service delivery, and site-level P&LsLead and develop a team of branch and regional managers, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and frontline empowermentCollaborate with senior leadership on growth initiatives, including the integration of newly acquired partner companiesLeverage data and KPIs to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and improve field productivity and financial outcomesEnsure operational consistency while respecting the unique strengths of each site and local teamServe as a cultural steward and change leader during a period of significant expansionQualifications8+ years of operational leadership experience in a multi-site, field-based service business (e.g., facilities, building services, logistics, trades, residential or commercial services)Proven success managing P&Ls and driving performance in a decentralized environmentExperience operating within a private equity-backed company or other high-growth, investor-led settingDemonstrated ability to lead through change, build strong local teams, and drive results through hands-on leadershipWillingness to travel across Southern California (~50%)Spanish language skills a plusIdeal CandidateA builder and operator at heart-able to lead at scale while staying connected to the fieldStrategic yet execution-oriented; thrives in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environmentsHigh EQ with a proven ability to align teams, create clarity, and deliver resultsCompensationTotal Compensation: Target OTE in the low $300Ks, plus performance-based bonus and long-term incentivesComprehensive benefits package provided
