CGP: Senior Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $35.00 to $38.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Manage month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Process intercompany transactions and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity across entities.Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring smooth financial operations.Conduct variance analysis to assess financial performance and identify key trends. Requirements: Demonstrate proficiency in large ERP systems for financial management and reporting.Have experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with cost accounting exposure.Possess strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles and their application in financial statements.Exhibit expertise in cash accounting, including reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.Apply analytical skills to evaluate financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Maintain keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation and reporting.Adapt to evolving accounting standards and best practices within corporate finance.Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to support financial decisions.Uphold professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling financial data and transactions.
