Lewis primarily bakes loaf bread, buns and rolls under branded products such as Bunny Bread, Lewis Bake Shop, Healthy Life, as well as other brands. Bakery facilities are located in LaPorte, Ft. Wayne, Vincennes, and Evansville, Indiana, and Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Our heritage has been one of quality and reliability since 1925. Every day the Lewis family and their caring associates rise to the challenge of baking the very best bakery products with a forward-thinking passion for growth and innovation.Responsibilities:Operate company owned and leased trucks over 4 ton to facilitate shipping/receiving operationsOperate trucks for the delivery and unloading of bakery productPerform required pre/post maintenance checks and provide required reportsProvide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operationsMaintain all required certifications required by DOTComply with safety policies, procedures and DOT regulationsMaintain and protect all property in excellent conditionPerform other duties as needed to support and improve overall department operations.Work Schedule:Routes are worked 5 days a week, with Tuesday and Saturdays being the general off daysShifts may start in between 9:00am-12:00pm and ends when route is complete (roughly 10hours)Route schedules and off daysmay be adjusted to accommodate holiday schedulesCompensation:Weekly guarantee is $1,150 | $65,000 - $95,000 earning potential per year!Pay is based on several variables such as rate per mile, stop pay, scheduled increases, bonus potential, etc.QualificationsRequirements:Must possess a valid CDL class A licenseMust be 21 years of age or older1-3 years years of professional driving experience is preferredAcceptable driving recordMust be able to successfully pass a drug screening, background check, and other pre-employment requirementsMust be capable of exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds of force frequently, 20 pounds of force constantly to move objectsOther physical requirements: sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, bending, twisting, talking and hearing.Must be able to read, write, and speak well as perform simple mathAbility to operate computerized systemsCan travel within the tri-state area#lbtransportation
