Office & Accounting Administrator with HR SupportPay: $19/hrSchedule: 8 AM - 5 PMEmployment Type: Full-Time, Temp to HireLocation: 77066Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office & Accounting Administrator with HR Support to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth daily operations of our front office while providing essential administrative support to our Accounting and Human Resources departments. The ideal candidate will be a courteous, professional, and reliable individual with strong accounting fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Financial Administration:Process accounts payable, including receiving and distributing invoices for approval, inputting data, and assisting with check runs.Assist with accounts receivable by matching Bills of Lading (BOLs) to invoices and processing daily sales orders for mailing and emailing.Perform daily batch scanning of sales orders and maintain organized filing systems for open and closed orders.Establish and maintain credit files for all new customer accounts.Provide general ledger support, including opening and sorting finance-related mail.HR & Payroll Support:Process and maintain all HR-related documentation, including new hire paperwork and employee files.Support payroll processes by assisting with data entry or verification tasks as directed.Maintain accurate and confidential employee information.Administrative & Office Support:Serve as the first point of contact for the company by managing all incoming phone calls and warmly greeting visitors.Oversee office administration, including managing incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling equipment repair, and ordering office and breakroom supplies.Organize and coordinate company events as needed.Work independently to accomplish assignments and collaborate effectively with all team members.Qualifications & Experience:High School diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree in Accounting or a related field is a plus.1-2 years of professional office administration experience.Strong math and basic accounting skills are required. A math skills test will be administered.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.Must be punctual and reliable to ensure consistent office coverage.Ability to work occasional overtime as needed.Physical Demands & Work Environment:This is a primarily office-based position, but may require occasional interaction with the shop floor.Physically able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen.apply now at /houstonnw/jobsearch Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $19.00 Per Hour
