Position Summary The Event Staff primary function is to use knowledge of the building and its services to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the building patrons entering the facility. This role will pay an hourly rate of $10.00-$12.00. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline. Responsibilities * Foster a positive and enjoyable environment with positive attitude for all guests attending an event * Responsibilities may include ticket scanning, ticket taking, partial security screening, guest questions, responding to incidents on venue property, directing guests to seating locations, etc * Ensure all guests are following venue, act, or promoter specific rules and regulations * Provide assistance to patrons with special needs or wheelchair access * Direct guests in a variety of situations including emergencies * Monitor and report any potential unsafe situations to direct supervisor * Help artists to * Hand out flyers or other promotional items * Find opportunities to improve the guest experience * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications * Employee must be at least 18 years old * High School diploma or GED (or any equivalent combination of education and experience) * Prior customer service experience is preferred * Access to reliable transportation * Must be able to work shifts including nights, weekends and holidays dependent on events schedule * Stand and walk for four to six hours at a time * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing * Must be comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast paced environment Strengthened by our Differences.
