Quality Assurance Technician 1Schedule: 34 hours per week to start 6:30AM - 3:30PM with 30 minutes for lunch, Monday through Thursday for training.40 hours per week will be available once the employee is able to get setup on their own 5:45AM - 4:15 PM or 4 x 10-hour days.Compensation: $20-$22/hrLocation: Mountain Lakes, NJ Experience: 2 years Job Description: Defect inspection of miniature glass products utilizing magnifiers and/or microscopes. Cutting multi-shaped glass to exact sizes using diamond tools.Duties include:• Magnifier/ Microscope inspection of glass parts for defects which include chips, cracks, scratches, airlines, cleanliness, etc.• Snap cutting multi-shaped glass to various lengths.• Counting and packaging parts into inspection trays, bags, or vials.• Minor data entry using Microsoft excel.• Understanding drawings, orders, specifications, and worksheets.Requirements, Skills, and Knowledge: • High school diploma (required)• Reliable transportation (required)• Background check and drug test (required)• Handling of small parts using tweezers.• Basic math skills for counting parts.• MeticulousCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
