Job DescriptionSenior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager Full-Time | Manhattan, KS| Competitive Base + Bonus + Full Benefits A well-established general contractor in Manhattan is seeking an experienced Estimator to support its growing pipeline of ground-up commercial projects, encompassing a range of sectors including hospitality, education, industrial, and senior living. Project Scope: Diverse commercial: Hospitality, K-12, churches, senior living, light industrial Projects typically range up to $50M (largest completed: $100M) What You'll Be Doing: Lead preconstruction efforts from budgeting to GMP Develop detailed cost estimates across multiple scopes Work closely with clients, architects, and subs during early design Oversee value engineering, bid analysis, and subcontractor coverage Collaborate with operations for smooth project handoff What We're Looking For: 7+ years of estimating/precon experience in commercial construction Strong communication and presentation skills Background in negotiated and hard bid work Experience with takeoff and estimating software Compensation & Perks: Base salary: $125K-$150K+ (negotiable for top candidates) Performance-based bonus Medical (BCBS) / Dental / Vision 401(k) with 4% match Company truck or allowance + phone/tablet 80 hours PTO + holidays Contact Jalen Thompson directly at (605)705-3304 for a confidential conversation.
