If you're wired for hands-on work and take pride in doing the job right, SPATCO is looking for a skilled and reliable Service Electrician to join our team-someone who can read blueprints, install and maintain electrical systems (including signage lighting), and use everything from conduit benders to voltmeters to keep things running safely and smoothly. Job Overview: * Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures. Electrical petroleum experience a plus. * Will be using hand tools and power tools. * Trouble-shoot and diagnose malfunctioning systems or components using the appropriate testing equipment to find and correct the failure. * Use of ohm meter, voltmeter, amp probe and megger are required * Install conduits, Run MC cable, pull wire and make final connections to circuit breakers. * Inspect electrical system and components to verify compliance with safety requirements, codes, project specifications and manufacturer requirements. Verify proper operation of the electrical system. * Advise management, customers and fellow workmen when hazards are present and when electrical systems are safe to operate. * Assist estimator with material take-off, material cost and labor allowances. * Receive work orders from company tablet and fill out job work orders thru electronic means tablet. Qualifications & Requirements: * High school diploma or GED a plus but not required * 7 years of experience as an electrician; 5 out of the 7 years must be commercial work. * At least 1 year of Journeyman Electrician experience * Solid understanding of electrical standards and codes and NEC 70 * Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening * Willingness to work overtime and be on call as needed * Strong communication skills and detail-oriented mindset * Capable of lifting 75-100 lbs. and working in various weather conditions * Ability to manage time effectively under pressure and collaborate well with others. * Able to work at heights.
