Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $22.00 to $26.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Manage incoming payroll-related emails and phone inquiries with professionalism.Delegate payroll tasks to processors and track progress to meet deadlines.Enter high volumes of data accurately and efficiently into payroll systems.Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather and clarify payroll information.Prepare and log manual checks while learning foundational payroll and tax withholding practices. Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook for administrative tasks.Possess a background in data entry or bookkeeping functions.Ideally bring 6+ months to 2+ years of relevant work experience.Show an interest in learning payroll processes rather than performing direct payroll processing. Qualifications: Display strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.Adapt quickly to new systems, with expected exposure to ADP.Exhibit an eagerness to learn payroll compliance topics, including tax withholding.Maintain a proactive and team-oriented approach to administrative support.
