Paralegal

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Berkeley, California. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting litigation efforts and ensuring the seamless management of legal processes. Responsibilities: - Manage litigation calendars and ensure deadlines are met accurately. - Prepare and file legal documents with state and federal courts electronically. - Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, and other essential documents. - Conduct discovery processes, including gathering and organizing relevant information. - Collaborate with attorneys on trial preparation and case strategy. - Utilize case management software to maintain organized records and workflows. - Assist in the review and analysis of employment law matters. - Provide administrative support to attorneys during court proceedings and meetings. Requirements - A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation support. - Strong understanding of discovery processes and civil litigation procedures. - Proficiency in trial preparation and the use of case management software. - Familiarity with e-filing procedures for both state and federal courts. - Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle complex cases. - Knowledge of employment law is a plus. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
