CDL B Driver - Street Sweeping (Days)

Join Our Team as a CDL B Driver! Job Details Pay: $18 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Location: 6409 Mesa Rd, Houston, TX 77028 About the RoleSweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is hiring CDL B Drivers with an air brake endorsement to join our growing team. In this role, you'll operate a Broom Sweeper Truck or Dump Truck/Follow Truck, providing safe and timely service on scheduled routes that include new housing developments, local city streets, and road construction sites. As a CDL B Driver, you'll play a critical role in keeping communities safe and clean. You'll help clear debris such as broken pavement, asphalt and concrete millings, mud, and seasonal roadway waste. When driving the Follow Truck, you'll also provide traffic protection by towing an attenuator with an arrow board. Key Responsibilities as a CDL B Driver: Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Safely operate a Broom Sweeper or Dump Truck/Follow Truck. Review assigned routes and clarify questions before starting. Complete all jobs within the scheduled time while maintaining quality. Use extra caution when working in inclement weather. Report equipment failures, near misses, or accidents within 8 hours. Assist at other locations if needed. Overnight travel may occasionally be required.
