Job Title: Entry-Level Phlebotomist I (Patient Services Representative I) Location: Deerfield Beach, FL Job Duration: 6+ Months (with potential for extension) Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Entry-Level Phlebotomist I (Patient Services Representative I) to join our team in Deerfield Beach, FL. In this front-of-house role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while supporting patient care needs. This is an entry-level position into Phlebotomy, with full training provided. The ideal candidate is eager to learn Phlebotomy, highly reliable, and able to create a welcoming environment for all patients. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients upon arrival with empathy and professionalism Assist patients with check-in using kiosks or handheld devices Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the waiting area Respond to patient inquiries and concerns with care and accuracy Support other team members during breaks or busy periods Learn and develop Phlebotomy skills during downtime Once trained, perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing per company procedures Ensure accuracy, safety, and confidentiality in all patient interactions Follow all established guidelines and maintain proper documentation Represent the organization positively to patients, clients, and the public Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Required) 1–2 years of face-to-face customer service experience (Retail, hospitality, home health, etc.) Strong customer service and communication skills – this is the core of the role Basic computer and data entry skills Willingness and enthusiasm to learn Phlebotomy Reliable transportation to/from the worksite (public transport/rideshare is not acceptable) Must live within a 20–25 minute commute of Deerfield Beach, FL Additional Information: Prior Phlebotomy experience is not required, but willingness to learn is mandatory Candidates interested only in front desk roles should not apply Attendance, punctuality, and shift adherence are strictly enforced This is a patient-facing position requiring professionalism, empathy, and a strong work ethic Why Join Us?
