Job Title: Medical Assistant Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will play a vital role in the patient experience by working closely with physicians to deliver exceptional care in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities * Engage with patients by rooming them efficiently and compassionately, supporting a high-volume clinic that sees up to 100 patients daily. * Provide clinical support by obtaining and recording vital signs both manually and electronically. * Perform phlebotomy with precision and care. * Schedule appointments and follow-ups, ensuring accurate EMR documentation using systems like EPIC and Quantum. * Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinic environment in accordance with health standards. Essential Skills * Proficiency in medical assisting and phlebotomy. * Certified Medical Assistant Certification preferred. * Current BLS Certification. * Experience with venipuncture, specimen collection, and using straight needle and butterfly methods. * Familiarity with electronic health records and medical terminology. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree preferred. * Compassionate and adaptable. * Passionate about fertility and committed to the organization. * Seeking a long-term fit with a desire to grow within the company and in the field of fertility. Work Environment The work is conducted in a modern clinical setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. A weekend rotation is required twice a month, along with a holiday rotation a few times per year. The facility includes patient examination rooms, an ambulatory surgery center designed like a small hospital floor for egg retrieval, and an embryology/IVF lab equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Notably, the lab is the first in the country to replicate the atmospheric composition of a woman's fallopian tubes throughout each stage of IVF. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Portland, Oregon. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
