Project Manager Job Description The Cost Lead plays a critical role in driving cost reduction initiatives across product groups within Resource Industries. This position focuses on identifying and executing opportunities using strategic tools such as should-cost analysis, order quantity optimization, similar part analysis, and multi-source arbitrage. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that support cost leadership and competitive advantage. Responsibilities * Identify cost reduction opportunities across product groups. * Conduct should-cost and similar part analyses. * Optimize order quantities and evaluate sourcing strategies. * Collaborate cross-functionally to implement cost-saving initiatives. * Present findings and recommendations using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Essential Skills * Strong analytical and communication skills. * Ability to read technical drawings. * Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. * Collaborative and data-driven mindset. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field with 8 or more years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 5 or more years of related experience, or an Associate's degree with 10 or more years of related experience. * Internships are accepted as job experience. * Relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical roles. Work Environment This position is 100% onsite in Building AC. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of East Peoria, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
