We believe Clear Communication is essential for effective teamwork.Position SummaryThe Packaging Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing packaging machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and continuous production. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting production teams by minimizing equipment downtime. The technician works closely with operators and other maintenance staff to maintain a safe, clean, and functional work environment in accordance with company policies and industry regulations. Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a focus on safety and quality are essential for success in this role.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and preventative maintenance on packaging machinery and related equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues to minimize production downtime.Repair or replace worn or faulty machine components in a timely manner.Conduct regular inspections of packaging equipment to identify potential problems.Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment is running efficiently and safely.Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs for all performed tasks and repairs.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP standards, and company policies.Assist in equipment installations, upgrades and modifications as needed.Maintain a claim and organized work area and ensure proper storage of tools and parts.Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly to support continuous production flow.Comply with the use of all required personal protective equipment.Minimum QualificationsMinimum of (3) years of experience in troubleshooting and performing preventive actions in a manufacturing environment.Experience in a high-speed packaging environment, preferable in food & beverage.Must have the ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems.Experience with Allen Bradley, Modicon & Omron programs a plus.Strong computer skills required; experience with RS Logix 500 & 5000, ProWorks, Delta V & Wonderware software a plus.Must be able to work any and all shifts, weekends and overtime as assigned.Welding & fabrication experience a plus.Benefits/CompensationCity Brewery provides an excellent benefits package including:Medical, vision & dental insuranceCompany paid short-term & long-term disability insuranceCompany provided life insuranceOptional accident, cancer & critical insuranceUp to a 9% 401K contributionPTO/Sick leave and vacationCompetitive wages12 Paid HolidaysCity Brewery is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all applicants will be considered without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.
