Transportation Position

Job Description: Norwich Free Academy (NFA) is accepting applications for the position of Shuttle Bus Driver. This role is responsible for safely transporting NFA students and staff between designated locations. Assignments include daily shuttle service between NFA and Sachem, transportation for Special Education (SPED) trips, Career Pathways programs, and athletic practices or games. The Shuttle Bus Driver supports the Academy's operational efficiency and ensures a positive, safe transportation experience for all passengers. This is a full-time (10-month school year) position during regular school hours. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid CDL Class B with Airbreak Endorsement. Clean driving record and compliance with DOT regulations, including drug and alcohol testing. Minimum of one year of professional driving experience, preferably transporting school-aged children. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Familiarity with Norwich and surrounding areas is desirable.
