Job Summary: REPORTS TO: Cottages Housekeeping Manager As a Housekeeper you are responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in a continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Essential Job Functions Are: * Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash. * Respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction. * Report any damages or repairs needed to management. * Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate. * Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices. * Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile. * Familiar with Lost and found policy, by taken responsibility by submitting items immediate to Management Qualifications and Requirements: * 1 Year of Prior Related Housekeeping Experience Preferred. * Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time. * Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to work and maintain a high level of performance. * Prioritization and time management skills. * Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays. * Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
