NOW HIRING - Orthopedic Medical Assistant 3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (national or school cert) Orthopedic experience is required (preferably 1 year + multispecialty within Ortho, not just siloed into one specialty) Ability to chart prep, strong documentation skills and ability to answer clinical questions Must be computer savvy Schedule/Shift: Hours: 7:30am-4pm (sometimes until 5pm), 30 min lunch (40 hours) Location: Monday afternoon in Wellington, FL / Tues-Fri in West Palm Beach, FL Pay: $23-25/hr - Your scope of duties will include assisting the physician in treatments and procedures, rooming patients, overseeing patient flow, ordering all nursing supplies and stocking 8 exam rooms. - Proficiency in patient vitals, BP, temperature venipuncture, proper cast removal, suture and staple removal. - Strong knowledge of orthopedic practice procedures such as diagnosis, cpt codes, crutches, canes, cam walkers are essential. - You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, establishing and maintaining an organized professional environment. - Your ability to promote the highest standards of patient safety and respond to patients and families with consideration and compassion is critical to the mission of the company.
