Electo-Mechanical Assembler

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Archbald, PA.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):High School DiplomaExperience with production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cablesExperience with wiring of assemblies and subassemblies and higher skilled soldering operationsAssembly experience with the manufacture of harnesses, circuit cards, and miscellaneous assembliesPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Support electro-mechanical assembly for missile productionPerform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operationsOperate equipment such as laser wire strippers and coax wire processing toolsAssemble, install, and terminate complex harnesses and assembliesPerform detailed soldering on micro and sub-miniature componentsWork from diagrams, drawings, schematics, and operation sheetsREQUIRED EDUCATION:Accredited High School Diploma or EquivalentWORK HOURS:4/10 work schedule1st ShiftMonday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST
