Senior Staff Accountant

Job DescriptionSenior Staff AccountantResponsibilities:Manage and oversee the daily operations of the shared services support center accounting department, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.Perform daily transactional accounting tasks, including payables and ACH disbursement processing and payroll processing.Monitor cash and credit card balances and charges on a daily basis to ensure both authorization and recording.Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes of both the support center and site operations.Prepare multi-location, consolidated financial statements.Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.Work with Controller on expense management opportunities.Work on special projects and/or requests from management.Assist the Controller in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to maintain internal controls and compliance with relevant regulations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.Provide guidance and work collaboratively with site operations accountants.Support external financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.CPA certification preferred or in-process.Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years of monthly transactional accounting and month end closing experiencePlease send your resume to Andree@ for immediate consideration.
