Job Type Part-timeDescriptionJob Purpose:The pro shop attendant will maintain the golf operation at his/her specific facility and work cooperatively with other departments. The position will promote an exceptional "golf experience" and provide excellent services and programs to all our customers.Duties:Under the direction of the Head Professional, Course Manager, or Assistant Manager:Assist in supervision of outside services and starters/marshalsEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, management, and all members of the publicAdherence to the established policies and procedures of the MGASAAssist with all golf services and operations of their course/sAssist with the rental and maintenance of golf carsAnswer and direct all incoming calls, taking messages when appropriateAssist with the booking tee times, starting, and monitoring of playTrack and verify that all players and guests register and facilitate proper controlsAssist all tournament, play day, clinic directors in the organization of eventsMeet, greet, and welcome prospective customersAdherence to all rules and regulations governing golf course usageAssist with the operations of the practice facilityAssist in sale of merchandise and rental of equipmentAdherence to cash and system controls to ensure the safekeeping of assets and inventoryAssist with physical inventories and the display of merchandiseInitiate and implement safety regulations and proceduresPromote sales and golf specialsOperate the picker to mechanically retrieve golf balls on driving rangePerform marshalling duties when neededMaintain compliance with TABC Seller/Server guidelinesMaintain the Communication Log Book during each shiftOversee and collect fees for all golf related activities, clean and restock the pro shop and restrooms, and conduct regular maintenanceOther duties as assignedRequirementsSkills/Qualifications:Must have a valid state issued Driver's LicenseEmployer paid TABC/Texas Food Handler Certification within 2 weeks of employment.Ability to work with others (Teamwork)Available to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidaysSalary Description 13.00 per hour
