Payroll Specialist

Century Group has partnered with a non-profit who is seeking a Payroll Specialist. This is a hybrid position in Petaluma. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $72,000 to $87,000 per year.Job Description: Review all payroll data in HRIS and then prepare files for review and approval by Manager Import employee time hours from time and attendance system into HRIS system Ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll for all employees in accordance with statutory requirements and regulations Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger support as it is related to payroll Requirements: Proficiency in HRIS and Timekeeping Systems Demonstrated experience evaluating and maintaining strong internal controls Knowledge of non-profit accounting Experience: 4-5 years of Payroll experience Paychex Attention to detail REF #46958 #LI-POST
